Elsie is a small, picturesque-looking town located in the very northeast corner of Clinton County, north of Ovid and between
St. Johns and Owosso.

Elsie is supported by local business and some regional industry, including aerodynamics, auto parts manufacturing and welding materials. Lear Corporation is a leading employer producing parts used in the automotive industry.

Elsie's strong agricultural heritage is evident in the Elsie Dairy
Festival, which began in 1980 as the Elsie Festival Parade. Green Meadows Farms is one of the largest dairy operations in the United States, milking a herd of 3,200 cows every day.
