Stockbridge is located in the southeastern corner of Ingham County.
This peaceful rural area is ideally located only a half hour drive
from Lansing, Jackson, Novi and Ann Arbor. A perfect location for
anyone who does business in these locations.
The town includes an old-fashioned town square,
complete with historical township hall and the surrounding park
honoring veterans of the Civil War. Century old storefront buildings
accent the town hall on the opposite sides of
the street to the north and west. Antique shops, a pharmacy, a hobby
shop, and a real estate office are among the current occupants of
the buildings that comprise the old town center.
The Stockbridge economy is
supported primarily by small business, agriculture and its location
at the busy junction of M-106 and M-52.
